| dc.description | Agro tourism can be conceptualized in general terms as a tourist activity that allows the visitor to experience all those aspects linked to the customs and traditions of the countryside, in addition to being able to form part of the production process of the agricultural, forestry and artisanal crops that are found in a given community. In this case study, it offers some concepts about agro tourism, and comments on the main results of an analysis of the situation of agro tourism activity in the rural area of the Pretoria Precinct of Montalvo County. The results have been obtained, above all, through surveys to inhabitants of the area. Later, some conclusions are offered and, from these, a profile of recommendations is generated with the purpose of taking advantage of the potential of the agrarian systems for the integrated, endogenous and sustainable rural development of the area through agro tourism. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El agroturismo se puede conceptualizar en términos generales como una actividad turística que le permite al visitante experimentar todos aquellos aspectos vinculados con las costumbres y tradiciones del campo, además de poder formar parte del proceso de producción de los cultivos agropecuarios, forestales y artesanales que se dan en una determinada comunidad. En el presente estudio de caso, se ofrecen algunos conceptos sobre el agroturismo, se comentan los principales resultados de un análisis de la situación de la actividad agro turística en la zona rural del Recinto Pretoria del cantón Montalvo. Los resultados han sido obtenidos, sobre todo, a través de encuestas a pobladores de la zona. Más adelante, se ofrecen algunas conclusiones y, a partir de estas, se genera un perfil de recomendaciones con la finalidad de aprovechar el potencial de los sistemas agrarios para el desarrollo rural integrado, endógeno y sostenible de la zona a través del agroturismo. | es_ES |
