| dc.description | The city of Babahoyo, land of great stories that promise a versatile city that is growing agro-tourism, converting agricultural and livestock activities as its main source of income for its inhabitants. Febres Cordero is a rural parish in the Babahoyo canton of the Los Ríos province in Ecuador. Created in the Las Juntas enclosure on May 14, 1936. Its inhabitants are dedicated to commerce, agriculture, livestock and tourism. It is one of the most important sectors for agriculture that is dedicated primarily to rural activities such as the production of cocoa, rice, corn, soybeans, bananas, etc. Its parish head is the town of Mata de Cacao, being one of the most extensive enclosures in inhabitants and territory of the parish, the same one that is beginning to grow thanks to its tourist activities, benefiting from a good economy. Tourism is one of the most booming activities in recent years, even in certain countries it has been considered one of the main sources of economic income, which is why some cities in the country work primarily to promote tourism because it is an activity that Great opportunities for growth and urban-rural development emerge for the future. | dc.description.abstract | La ciudad de Babahoyo, tierra de grandes historias que prometen una ciudad versátil la misma que está creciendo agro-turísticamente convirtiendo a las actividades agrícolas y ganaderas como su principal fuente de ingreso para sus habitantes. Febres Cordero es una parroquia rural del cantón Babahoyo de la provincia de Los Ríos en el Ecuador. Creada en el recinto de Las Juntas el 14 de mayo de 1936. Sus habitantes se dedican al comercio, agricultura, ganadería y al turismo. Es uno de los sectores más importantes para la agricultura que se dedica primordialmente a actividades rurales como la producción de cacao, arroz, maíz, soya, plátanos etc. Su cabecera parroquial es la localidad de Mata de Cacao, siendo unos de los recintos más extenso en habitantes y territorio de la parroquia, la misma que está empezando a crecer gracias a sus actividades turísticas teniendo como beneficio una buena economía. El turismo es una de las actividades de mayor auge en los últimos años incluso en ciertos países se ha considerado como una de las principales fuentes de ingresos económicos, es por ello que algunas ciudades del país trabajan primordialmente para fomentar el turismo porque es una actividad que aflora para el futuro grandes oportunidades de crecimiento y desarrollo urbano-rural. Por estas características, Babahoyo no puede ser la excepción, se tiene que fomentar el turismo y el agroturismo en sus parroquias. | es_ES |
