| dc.description | The present case study presents the budget assigned to tourism by the municipal Gad of Puebloviejo with the intention of showing the use of these resources and the projects carried out based on this budget for tourism purposes and to corroborate if these projects are being executed or the budget is not sufficient for the activities subsequently presented. In this way it will be possible to show the use given to the economic resources assigned in the canton of Puebloviejo to tourism. Among the main findings, it was shown that there are currently three tourism projects and one of them is the most advanced and is being executed, which is the so-called Grain Route. The other two which are the library and the reconstruction of the boulevard have not yet been developed due to the sanitary emergency that exists worldwide. The budget allocated to tourism is $100,000, which has been distributed according to the needs of each project. The research methodology defined for the present case study follows a qualitative approach, since within its research techniques it includes a semi-structured in-depth interview where the interviewee answered a series of questions regarding the topic being discussed giving his or her point of view and what he or she knew about the topic. In addition, information from secondary sources was analyzed to obtain public data regarding budgets allocated to tourism in the canton of Puebloviejo. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso de estudio da a conocer sobre el presupuesto asignado al turismo por parte del Gad municipal de Puebloviejo con la intención de mostrar el uso de estos recursos y los proyectos realizados a base de este presupuesto con fines turísticos y corroborar si estos proyectos se están ejecutando o el presupuesto no es suficiente para las actividades posteriormente presentadas. Así se podrá mostrar el uso dado a los recursos económicos asignados en el cantón Puebloviejo al turismo. Entre los principales hallazgos se evidenció que en la actualidad existen tres proyectos turísticos y uno de ellos, el que está más avanzado y en ejecución, es la denominada Ruta del grano. Los otros dos que son la biblioteca y la reconstrucción del boulevard que aún no se han desarrollado por la emergencia sanitaria existente a nivel mundial. El presupuesto asignado al turismo es de 100.000 dólares los cuales se han repartido de acuerdo a las necesidades de cada proyecto. La metodología de la investigación definida para el presente caso de estudio sigue un enfoque cualitativo, ya que dentro de sus técnicas de investigación incluye una entrevista semi-estructurada a profundidad donde el entrevistado contestó una serie de preguntas referentes al tema tratado dando su punto de vista y lo que conocía sobre el tema. Además, se analizó información de fuentes secundarias para obtener los datos públicos referente a presupuestos asignados a turismo en el cantón Puebloviejo. | es_ES |
