dc.descriptionThis case study is aimed, at the tourist promotion that given to the San Francisco Complex located in the Buena Fé Canton this is one of the few tourist destinations that have a natural resource within the Canton with a unique singularity but the growth of the tourism business has not maximized, and the number of visitors is unstable. Faced with this phenomenon, he has been interested in studying tourism promotion through social networks to increase the number of visitors to the destination. Currently, the use of social networks provides many benefits and advantages in the field of tourism, allowing the information, communication, and promotion of the different trips of a destination to be easily disseminated. The types of research used was descriptive research and bibliographic documentary research. The results were obtained through research techniques, which were the survey and the interview, the method used was convenience sampling due to the emergency we are experiencing. The survey was applied to 125 people from the Buena Fé Canton, between 15 and 37 years of age, which allowed specifying which social networks are and the use they are given to promote the complex. The interview was conducted with a professional person on the subject considering the necessary measures that can be applied to increase the influx of visitors. After the analysis, it was concluded that the local population agrees with the tourist development in the complex. Although, that previously has not occurred. For this reason, it is essential to improve tourism promotion through social networks to publicize the site and help comprehensively in contributing to the influx of visitors.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso va encaminado hacia la promoción turística que se le da al Complejo San Francisco ubicado en el Cantón Buena Fé, este es uno de los pocos destinos turísticos que posee un recurso natural dentro del Cantón, con una singularidad única, pero el crecimiento del negocio del turismo no ha maximizado y el número de visitantes es inestable. Ante este fenómeno, se ha interesado en estudiar la promoción turística por medio de las redes sociales para aumentar el número de visitantes en el destino. Actualmente, el uso de las redes sociales proporciona muchos beneficios y ventajas en el ámbito del turismo permitiendo difundir fácilmente la información, comunicación y promoción de los diferentes viajes de un destino. Los tipos de investigación que se utilizó fue la investigación descriptiva e investigación documental bibliográfica. Se obtuvieron los resultados, a través, de las técnicas de investigación, que fueron la encuesta y la entrevista, el método que se empleo fue el muestreo por conveniencia debido a la situación de emergencia que estamos pasando. La encuesta se aplicó a 125 personas del Cantón Buena Fé, de entre 15 a 37 años de edad, que permitió especificar cuáles son las redes sociales y el uso que se le dan para la promoción del complejo, así mismo la entrevista fue realizada a una persona profesional en el tema considerando las medidas necesarias que pueden aplicarse para incrementar la afluencia de visitantes. Luego del análisis realizado se llegó a la conclusión de que, la población buenafesina está de acuerdo con el desarrollo turístico, en el complejo. Pese a que, con anterioridad no se ha dado. Por ello es imprescindible mejorar la promoción turística por medio de las redes sociales para dar a conocer el sitio y ayudar de manera integral en la contribución de la afluencia de visitantes.es_ES
