dc.descriptionThe present clinical case deals with a patient who in her application describes feeling abdominal pain located at the level of the epigastrium, the pain is intensified when she ingests citrus and dairy, in its conjunctions you notice some paleness. The doctor suspects gastroesophageal gastritis and reflux, by interpreting endoscopy performed and complementary biochemical examinations, the doctor diagnoses gastric peptic ulcer and mild iron deficiency anemia. Through nutritional assessment the patient has significant weight loss in 6 months, alteration of biochemical examination values, clinical signs of iron deficiency anemia and insufficient iron consumption. It was also possible to determine that the patient was consuming foods that worsened her condition and caused her discomfort. A nutritional plan appropriate to its pathologies is proposed, the follow-up showed that with the nutritional plan proposed it was possible to obtain favorable changes in one month of treatment.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso clínico trata sobre una paciente que en su motivo de consulta describe sentir dolor abdominal localizado a nivel del epigastrio, el dolor se intensifica cuando ingiere cítricos y lácteos, en sus conjuntivas se nota algo de palidez. El médico sospecha de gastritis y reflujo gastroesofágico, mediante la interpretación de endoscopía realizada y exámenes bioquímicos complementarios, el médico diagnostica úlcera péptica gástrica y anemia ferropénica leve. Mediante la valoración nutricional la paciente presenta pérdida significativa de peso en 6 meses, alteración de valores de exámenes bioquímicos, signos clínicos de anemia ferropénica y un consumo insuficiente de hierro. También se pudo determinar que la paciente estaba consumiendo alimentos que empeoraban su condición y le provocaban malestares. Se plantea un plan nutricional adecuado a sus patologías, en el seguimiento se pudo observar que con el plan nutricional planteado se logró obtener cambios favorables en un mes de tratamiento.es_ES
