dc.descriptionThe right to freedom of expression is a principle of democratic society and not only a right, but currently in Ecuador this rights has been regulated by the Organic Law of Communication, which within its statutes and norms infers the Respect for people and cuts free opinion, this is the case of the Fanpage Crudo Ecuador, the same one that operated without significance until 2012 than with the publication of a meme where ex-president Eco was made a show. Rafael Correa Delgado on his double moral when saying during a Saturday that they were going to increase the taxes to the hairdressers for not preferring to consume national products, but instead imported merchandise from recognized stores and expensive brands. In view of this, there was a media persecution that ended in 2015 with the temporary closure of the Fanpage, it is precisely in view of this that in this case study freedom of opinion will be analyzed during 2017 with reference to this Fanpage and if in the Currently, there is freedom of expression or not, for which observation sheets will be used that allow the collection of information on the memes published in 2017, analyzing their narrative, the satire and the populisms used for their expression, as well as the comments issued by subscribers to this page. dc.description.abstractEl derecho a la libertad de expresión es un principio de la sociedad democrática y no solo un derecho, pero en la actualidad en el Ecuador este derecho se ha visto regulado por la Ley Orgánica de Comunicación la mismas que dentro de sus estatutos y normas infiere al respeto a las personas y corta la libre opinión, es así el caso de la Fanpage Crudo Ecuador la misma que operaba sin trascendencia hasta el 2012 que con la publicación de un meme donde se hacía lución al expresidente Econ. Rafael Correa Delgado sobre su doble moral al decir durante una sabatina que se iba a incrementar los impuestos a los pelucones por no preferir consumir productos nacionales, sino que importaban mercadería de tiendas reconocidas y marcas caras. Ante ello existió una persecución mediática que acabó en el 2015 con el cierre temporal de la Fanpage, es justamente ante ello que en el presente caso de estudio se analizará la libertad de opinión durante el 2017 con referencia a esta Fanpage y si en la actualidad existe o no la libertad de expresión, para lo cual se emplearán fichas de observación que permitan la recolección de información sobre los memes publicados en el 2017, analizando su narrativa, la sátira y los populismos utilizados para su expresión, así como también los comentarios emitidos por los suscriptores de esta página. Los resultados obtenidos en el desarrollo de la investigación demostraron que en la web 2.0. Existe una mayor libertad de opinión y expresión lo que únicamente se encuentra regulado por las normas comunitarias.es_ES
