| dc.description | In Ecuador, higher education institutions in recent months reflect a decrease in the quality of teaching and learning due to the SARS-CoV2 pandemic; However, these institutions, in their attempt to limit the gap caused by this virus, mostly began to develop communication strategies. It is here where the present study was born, which aimed to analyze the incidence of new communicational strategies and their application in third-level education in times of pandemic at the Technical University of Babahoyo during the period May - August 2020; where the result of the surveys carried out indicated that students and teachers wanted to improve or implement new communication tools within the university. According to the aforementioned data, it is concluded that the crisis could be an opportunity to reform the resource allocation systems for education to make them more efficient and equitable, likewise, the limitations that have been seen in education encourage the best way to use technology for educational purposes in the different modes of education. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En Ecuador las instituciones de educación superior en los últimos meses reflejan un decrecimiento en la calidad de enseñanza y aprendizaje debido a la a pandemia del SARS-CoV2; sin embargo, estas instituciones en su intento de limitar la brecha ocasionada por este virus, comenzaron en su mayoría a desarrollar estrategias comunicacionales. Es aquí donde nace el presente estudio que tuvo como objetivo analizar la incidencia de las nuevas estrategias comunicacionales y su aplicación en la educación de tercer nivel en tiempos de pandemia en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo durante el periodo Mayo – Agosto del 2020; en donde el resultado de las encuestas realizadas indicó que los estudiantes y docentes quisieran mejorar o en su efecto implementar nuevas herramientas comunicacionales dentro de la universidad. De acuerdo a los datos mencionados se concluye que la crisis podría ser una oportunidad para reformar los sistemas de asignación de recursos para la educación para hacer que estos sean más eficientes y equitativos, así mismo, las limitaciones que se han visto en la educación incentivan a mejor la manera de usar la tecnología para fines educativos en las diferentes modalidades de educación. | es_ES |
