| dc.description | The city of Babahoyo for being located in the low coastal zone for many years has been hit by the winter season, the intensity of the rains and the increase in the rise of its rivers Babahoyo, San Pablo and Catarama have affected basic services, health and the popular economy. The present research work, taking into account this problem, aims to ANALYZE THE INCIDENCE OF THE LOWIS ™ PROGRAM FOR THE PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION OF THE MECHANICAL PUMPING SYSTEM WITH CONVENTIONAL ROCKER IN RAINWATER WELLS IN THE MITIGATION OF FLOODS IN THE CITY OF BABAHOYO. Taking into account that the municipal government authorities have implemented policies and measures to mitigate floods with the installation of six stations and water wells with mechanical upward pumping to the surface to evacuate rainwater to the river and the savannah. Documentary and descriptive research has been adopted; the qualitative methodology is used for data collection using the observation technique. | dc.description.abstract | La ciudad de Babahoyo por estar ubicada en la zona baja costanera por muchos años ha sido golpeada por la época invernal, la intensidad de las lluvias y el aumento en la crecida de sus ríos Babahoyo, San Pablo y Catarama han afectado a los servicios básicos, la salud y la economía popular. El presente trabajo de investigación tomando en cuenta esta problemática pretende ANALIZAR LA INCIDENCIA DEL PROGRAMA LOWIS™ PARA LA OPTIMIZACIÓN DE LA PRODUCCIÓN DEL SISTEMA DE BOMBEO MECÁNICO CON BALANCÍN CONVENCIONAL EN POZOS DE AGUAS LLUVIAS EN LA MITIGACIÓN DE INUNDACIONES EN LA CIUDAD DE BABAHOYO. Teniendo en cuenta que las autoridades de gobierno municipal, han implementado políticas y medidas para mitigar las inundaciones con la instalación de seis estaciones y pozos de agua con bombeo mecánico ascendente a la superficie para evacuar el agua lluvia hacia el río y la sabana. Se han adoptado las investigaciones de tipo documental y descriptiva; la metodología cualitativa es empleada para la recolección de datos empleando la técnica de observación.
