In addition, the nutritional benefits obtained from this vegetable were studied, since when ingested it provides high amounts of proteins, vitamins and essential minerals, which means that green beans could be a very nutritious food such as meat products, even this vegetable has a certain advantage by keeping its price stable within the local market, which contributes to the food security and sovereignty of Ecuadorians.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el presente trabajo se ejecutó con la finalidad de analizar los principales tipos de cultivares de vainita que existen en el Ecuador, debido al desconocimiento del agricultor sobre las mismas, por lo cual, se describieron cada uno de los cultivares más en el país, donde se indicaron sus características morfológicas, origen, taxonomía, adaptación climática y su rendimiento de producción. Todo esto con el objetivo de mejorar la situación económica del agricultor y por ende del País. Además, se estudiaron los beneficios nutricionales que se obtienen a partir de esta hortaliza, ya que al ser ingerida proporciona altas cantidades de proteínas, vitaminas y minerales esenciales, lo que hace que la vainita pueda ser un alimento muy nutritivo como los productos cárnicos, incluso este vegetal posee cierta ventaja al mantener su precio estable dentro del mercado local, lo que contribuye con la seguridad y soberanía alimentaria de los ecuatorianos.es_ES
