Maternal mortality is one of the indicators considered important to measure the socioeconomic level and the health status of the population in a given country. The surgical termination of obstetric events or also known as cesarean section has been one of the most important advances of contemporary perinatal medicine and has had, indisputably, an extraordinary impact on the reduction of maternal and perinatal mortality. Puerperal infection as an expression of infection associated with healthcare is one of the main complications in obstetric patients. Through this study we aim to describe the complications of puerperal sepsis due to hysterorrhaphy dehiscence. The clinical case to be studied is: A 19-year-old patient is brought to the second level hospital with a diagnosis of Pregnancy of 37.2 weeks of gestation, by ultrasound of the 1st trimester, on vaginal examination of the closed cervix, on fetal monitoring she presents Lcf 134x ' sporadic uterine contractions.es_ES
