dc.descriptionThis case study was conducted with the purpose of detecting and analyzing the causes that affect the proper functioning of the Human Resources Department of the Agricultural Company La Julia S.A currently directed by the renowned Ecuadorian businessman Álvaro Noboa Pontón counts with an estimated 1,200 employees, dedicated to the export of tropical fruits mainly bananas. A qualitative research methodology was used through public documents with information relevant to the conduct of this case study, as well as interviews with the workers who made it possible to know exactly the level of conformity or non-conformity, opinions about the management carried out, to be able to determine which problems affect this department. Among the most relevant problems we could detect a limited retention of staff due to the lack of punctuality in payments, an inadequate working environment that leads to employees not remaining in a stable way in their job, inappropriate recruitment that causes inappropriate talent to be captured or that your skills, skills are not commensurate with what the position within the department requires, Training carried out in an irregular manner that have as consequences employees outdated in relation to knowledge, new skills that are of great importance to provide a quality service. The line of research applied in this case of study is Administrative Financial Management, tax, audit and control with the sub-Companies line and public and private institutions the career of commercial engineering as it is based on the relevant aspects in the organizational part of a private company.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste caso de estudio se realizó con la finalidad de detectar y analizar las causas que afectan el correcto funcionamiento del departamento de Recursos Humanos de la Compañía Agrícola La Julia S.A actualmente dirigida por el reconocido empresario ecuatoriano Álvaro Noboa Pontón cuenta con un estimado de 1.200 empleados, dedicada a la exportación de frutas tropicales principalmente el banano. Se utilizó una metodología de investigación cualitativa a través de documentos públicos con información relevante para la realización de este caso de estudio, así como también entrevistas con el personal obrero que permitió conocer con exactitud el nivel de conformidad o inconformidad, opiniones acerca de la gestión realizada, para poder determinar que problemáticas afectan este departamento. Entre las problemáticas más relevantes se pudo detectar encontramos una limitada retención del personal debido a que no existe puntualidad en los pagos, clima laboral no adecuado que conllevan a que los empleados no permanezcan de manera estable en su puesto de trabajo, reclutamiento inadecuado que ocasiona que se capten talentos no adecuados o que sus habilidades, destrezas no están acorde a lo que el puesto dentro del departamento requiere, capacitaciones realizadas de manera irregular que tienen como consecuencias empleados desactualizados en relación a conocimientos, habilidades nuevas que son de gran importancia para brindar un servicio de calidad. La línea de investigación aplicada en este caso de estudio es Gestión Financiera administrativa, tributaria, auditoría y control con la sub-línea de Empresas e instituciones públicas y privadas la carrera de ingeniería comercial ya que se basa en los aspectos relevantes en la parte organizacional de una compañía privada.es_ES
