| dc.description.abstract | El turismo se ha convertido en una estrategia de desarrollo para el cantón Montalvo y toda la provincia de los Ríos que por sus características atraen la atención de visitantes de los sectores aledaños y extranjeros, siendo de interés para esta investigación el análisis del caso en el cantón Montalvo. Se pretende determinar el impacto que genera el turismo en la población del este cantón, mediante un estudio empírico que evidencie los cambios dentro del ámbito del desarrollo sostenible.
