Based on the sessions and the tests we were able to diagnose mild depression due to the lack of attention by their parents which is negatively affecting the student, they feel judged by them and feel them distant since because of work they remain separated for a large part of the day, there is an additional academic failure that the young man experienced since he failed the previous school year which is causing clinically significant discomfort. For this reason, psychological intervention was used, on the other hand it was about improving his mental health and changing his emotional state through several sessions in which there was an improvement in the patient himself that will help him to improve his academic performance, Your social life and family environment.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el presente estudio de caso se llevó a cabo la investigación sobre como el rendimiento académico está afectando el estados de ánimo de un estudiante en particular, para lo cual se plantea un plan psicoterapéutico, el mismo que se encuentra orientado bajo técnicas cognitivas conductuales aplicadas en el proceso psicodiagnostico. En base a las sesiones y los test realizados pudimos diagnosticar depresión leve debido a la falta de atención por parte de sus padres lo cual le está afectando de manera negativa al estudiante, se siente juzgado por ellos y los siente distantes ya que por motivo de trabajo se mantienen separados por gran parte del día, adicional existe un fracaso académico que el joven experimentó ya que reprobó el anterior año lectivo lo cual está causando malestar clínicamente significativo. Por este motivo se recurrió a la intervención psicológica, por otra parte se trató de mejorar su salud mental y cambiar su estado emocional mediante varias sesiones en lo cual se vio una mejora en el paciente misma que le servirá de ayuda para su mejor rendimiento académico, su vida social y su entorno familiar.es_ES
