dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research is to analyze the dyscalculia and its incidence on the academic performance of the Middle School students of the School "Nuestra Señora de Fátima" located in the corner of El Empalme Provincia del Guayas. The motive that impel the accomplishment of this investigative work, is because the dyscalculia is gaining ground in the education of the students, through the observation it was verified that many of the students present disadvantages in the area of mathematics, becoming for them a difficult and complicated educational environment, which prevents them from obtaining a good development within the learning processes and therefore there will be a low academic performance. The main objective of this final research report is to apply a classroom project as a proposal, in order to help students with learning problems in the area of mathematics also known as dyscalculia. This research has fundamental bases that serve as an axis for it to be carried out properly; One of these bases is the theoretical framework and the methodology that will be applied to make it feasible. Surveys will also be applied to the educational community to gather field information to confirm and analyze the research. Later, the conclusions and recommendations will be specified, the same ones that support the elaboration and application of an alternative proposal that consists of a classroom project, which will improve the academic performance.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene como finalidad analizar la DISCALCULIA Y SU REPERCUSIÓN EN EL CÁLCULO MENTAL A ESTUDIANTES DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA LEÓN DE FEBRES CORDERO PARROQUIA SAN JUAN CANTÓN PUEBLOVIEJO PROVINCIA LOS RÍOS. El motivo que impulso la realización de este trabajo investigativo, es debido a que la discalculia va ganando terreno en la educación de los estudiantes, a través de la observación se constató que muchos de los educandos presentan inconvenientes en el área de matemáticas, tornándose para ellos un ambiente educativo difícil y complicado, el cual les impide obtener un buen desarrollo dentro de los procesos de aprendizaje y por ende existirá un bajo rendimiento académico. Este informe final de investigación tiene como principal objetivo aplicar un proyecto de aula como propuesta, para poder ayudar de esa manera a los estudiantes que presentan problemas de aprendizaje en el área de matemáticas también conocido como discalculia. Esta investigación tiene bases fundamentales que sirven como eje para que se efectué adecuadamente; una de esas bases es el marco teórico y la metodología que se aplicará para que tenga factibilidad. También se aplicaran encuestas a la comunidad educativa para recabar información de campo que permita confirmar y analizar la investigación. Posteriormente se especificaran las conclusiones y recomendaciones, las mismas que sustentan la elaboración y aplicación de una propuesta alternativa que consiste en un proyecto de aula, el cual mejorará el rendimiento académico.es_ES
