dc.description	Typical dishes are an important complement to tourism due to the need of tourists, they are always looking to taste different flavors from those of their place of origin, choosing the most representative of each visited site, however, the research carried out on gastronomic tourism of Babahoyo are reduced to unexpected level. dc.description.abstract	Los platos típicos constituyen un importante complemento del turismo debido a la necesidad de los turistas, siempre están buscando degustar sabores diferentes a los de su lugar de origen, eligiendo los más representativos de cada sitio visitado, sin embargo, las investigaciones realizadas sobre el turismo gastronómico de Babahoyo son reducidas a nivel no esperados. Sabiendo de la importancia cultural que representa los platos típicos de Babahoyo y sus principales ingredientes se ha realizado un estudio y su principal motivación es el rescate de los tradicionales platos típicos del Cantón Babahoyo, para fortalecer y conservar la identidad cultural de la ciudad, a través del Departamento de Turismo se puede coordinar y organizar eventos que aporten al desarrollo local en el Cantón Babahoyo, para mantener su historia, tradiciones, costumbres, culturas y específicamente facilite información sobre su comida criolla, explicando su origen y como ha ido evolucionado a través de los años, para de esta forma fomentar el incremento del turismo gastronómico de Babahoyo, sería factible que las autoridades contribuyan para difundir capacitaciones, seminarios, talleres, ferias gastronómicas para el incremento de turistas en el Cantón y el aumento de venta de comidas típicas	es_ES
