dc.description	The present investigation is analyzed in the Virgen del Guayco located in the Parish L Magdalena, belonging to the Chimbo Canton of the Province of Bolívar, where the low tourist diffusion of the population and the entities on the historical and religious value of the Virgin is evidenced of the Guayco in the development of Religious Tourism, it is important to keep in mind that this is because there is no Tourism Planning that prevents achieving better management and management in activities, delaying the integration of tourism into society. The project presents the advantages of tourism activities as a great opportunity for cultural, economic and social progress, directly benefiting the population and improving their quality of life, exposing the new alternatives in tourism development. In the development of the research work a scientific methodology was used followed by methods and techniques that allowed the collection of information necessary for the development of the topic, using the respective surveys and interviews with the authorities of the Municipal GAD of the Chimbo Canton and the Parish Priest of the La Magdalena Parish about the importance of Religious Tourism in the sector. It was found that the population is currently awaiting other activities such as agriculture and, putting religious tourism in the background	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación se desarrolló en la Virgen del Guayco ubicado en la Parroquia L Magdalena, perteneciente al Cantón Chimbo de la Provincia de Bolívar, donde se evidenció la escasa difusión turística de la población y de las entidades sobre el valor histórico y religioso de la Virgen del Guayco en el desarrollo del Turismo Religioso, es importante mencionar que esto se debe a que no existe una Planificación Turística que impide alcanzar una mejor gestión y manejo en las actividades, retrasando la integración del turismo en la sociedad. El proyecto presenta las ventajas de las actividades turísticas como una gran oportunidad de progreso cultural, económico y social, beneficiando directamente a la población y mejorando su calidad de vida, exponiendo las nuevas alternativas en el desarrollo turístico. En el desarrollo del trabajo de investigación se utilizaron una metodología científica seguida de métodos y técnicas que permitieron la recopilación de información necesaria para el desarrollo del tema, utilizando las respectivas encuestas y entrevistas a las autoridades del GAD Municipal del Cantón Chimbo y del Párroco de la Parroquia La Magdalena acerca de la importancia que tiene el Turismo Religioso en el sector. Se pudo comprobar que en la actualidad la población se encuentra pendiente de otras actividades como es la agricultura y, poniendo en segundo plano turismo religioso	es_ES
