dc.description	A medical illness that denotes highly significant physical changes such as Alopecia in an adolescent can attract consequences that put their mental health at risk, since it is in the stage of seeking identity and acceptance of the social environment in which it is involved For this reason it is considered a vulnerable population. In this research work the study of a case of a 13-year-old student is carried out, which presented changes that affected not only his school performance, but also his social and emotional life. During the study of the symptomatology that the patient showed, through the use of observation and medical history, it was possible to verify under the parameters indicated by the DSM V that the patient's clinical diagnosis was major depression due to medical illness (Alopecia), This allowed to carry out the corresponding therapeutic scheme to reduce the signs and symptoms that it manifested	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Una enfermedad medica que denote cambios físicos altamente significativos como la Alopecia en un adolescente puede atraer consecuencias que ponen en riesgo la salud mental del mismo, ya que se encuentra en la etapa de búsqueda de identidad y aceptación del medio social en el cual se encuentra involucrado, por tal motivo se considera una población vulnerable. En el presente trabajo investigativo se realiza el estudio de un caso de un estudiante de 13 años, que presentaba cambios que afectaban no solamente su rendimiento escolar, sino también su vida social y emocional. Durante el estudio de la sintomatología que mostraba el paciente, mediante el uso de la observación y la historia clínica, se pudo constatar bajo los parámetros que indica el DSM V que el diagnóstico clínico del paciente era depresión mayor debido a enfermedad médica (Alopecia), esto permitió realizar el esquema terapéutico correspondiente para reducir los signos y síntomas que el mismo manifestaba	es_ES
