dc.description	The present case study is oriented to the tourist signage in the waterfall San Jacinto, cantón Ventanas, Provincia de los Ríos. The limited signage towards the San Jacinto Waterfull, has as a consequence, the racional wasted of this natural resource. The local population has little knowledge of the existence of it waterfall. The escarce tourist signage, is a problema that influence in the orientation the turist, because the visitors in addition of guided by tourist brochures, they also do it through of tourist signage, these allow they to know, not only how arrive to a destination as also the turistic activities that they can be done in a certain place. Through the application of methods, techniques and instruments, was obtained as a result the absence of signage towards the San Jacinto Waterfull, his is the main problem that generates the disorientation of the tourist towards the same, Because of this problem this natural resource is being touristly wasted, Because signage is a tourist service necessary for the development of the activity and tourist orientation.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El presente caso de estudio está orientado a la Señalética y la Orientación al Turista en la Cascada San Jacinto, Parroquia Los Ángeles, Cantón Ventanas, Provincia de los Ríos. La limitada señalética hacia la cascada, tiene como consecuencia, el desaprovechamiento racional de este recurso natural. La población local tiene pocos conocimientos sobre la existencia de la cascada. La escasa señalética turística, es un problema que influye en la orientación del turista, porque el visitante además de guiarse por folletos turísticos también lo hace a través de señaléticas que le permiten conocer, no solo como llegar a un destino sino también las actividades turísticas que se pueden realizar dentro de un determinado lugar. Mediante la aplicación de métodos, técnicas e instrumentos, se obtuvo como resultado la inexistencia de señalética hacia la cascada San Jacinto, esta es la principal problemática que genera la desorientación del turista hacia la misma; debido a este problema este recurso natural está siendo turísticamente desaprovechado, porque la señalética es un servicio turístico necesario para el desarrollo de la actividad y orientación turística.	es_ES
