| dc.description | SUMMARY In the technical university of Babahoyo, the following experimental work was carried out using the poultry production sheds located at kilometer 7.5 of the Babahoyo-Montalvo road. The genetic material that was used was two hundred broiler chickens of the line (Cobb 500) and two hundred line chickens (Ross 308) sexed. In the stages of the production of the broiler chickens the test was carried out with the duration of 42 consecutive days in both lines with the density of 12 chickens / m2, In the results it was determined that in the females of the line test (Cobb 500 ) presents a similarity to the values of the yield manual in the growth curves taking into account that the start weight is higher than the test weight, in as much as the males also have a weight obtained similar to those suggested by the manual of the line . In the line (Ross 308) the females and the males of the experiment obtained values similar to those reported by the manual of performance objectives, taking into account that the initial weight that we obtained in the trial was also lower and then the birds recovered for be better in the variable weight in the 42 days of aging. | dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN En la universidad técnica de Babahoyo se realizó el siguiente trabajo experimental utilizando las naves de producción avícola ubicada en el kilómetro 7,5 de la vía Babahoyo-Montalvo. El material genético que se utilizó fue doscientos pollos broilers de la línea (Cobb 500) y doscientos pollos de la línea (Ross 308) sexados. En las etapas de la producción de los pollos broilers el ensayo se efectuó con la duración de 42 días consecutivos en ambas líneas con la densidad de 12 pollos/m2, En los resultados se determinó que en las hembras del ensayo de la línea (Cobb 500) presenta una similitud a los valores del manual de rendimiento en las curvas de crecimiento teniendo en cuenta que el peso de inicio es superior a las del ensayo, en cuanto los machos también presenta un peso obtenido similar a los sugeridos por el manual de la línea. En la línea (Ross 308) las hembras y los machos del experimento obtuvieron valores similares a los reportados por el manual de objetivos de rendimiento, teniendo en cuenta que el peso inicial que obtuvimos en el ensayo también fue inferior y luego las aves se recuperaron para ser mejores en la variable peso en los 42 días de crianza.
