| dc.description.abstract | La Parroquia Isla de Bejucal fundada el 23 de Abril de 1884 es una de las parroquias más longevas de la Provincia de los Ríos, con una población aproximada de 9,000 habitantes, la cual colinda con las parroquias San Juan y Guare al norte, al sur con las parroquias Baba y Pimocha al este con San juan y Pimocha y al Oeste con Baba y Guare. Para esta parroquia significó un cambio muy importante la construcción de la vía Vinces- La Isla San Juan para el desarrollo económico de esta parroquia, el mismo que se basa en la producción agrícola especialmente de la producción Bananera, ya que antes la vía de transporte para esta parroquia era a través de lanchas tanto a personas como productos agrícolas y cualquiera que necesite este medio de transporte. El Gobierno autónomo descentralizado parroquial de Isla de Bejucal administrado por su Presidente Miguel Botto Carrasco en la actualidad, este ente desde su creación viene realizando gestiones y obras al beneficio de sus ciudadanos, y velando por el correcto ordenamiento territorial de la parroquia y así también con el equipamiento, infraestructura y viabilidad de la misma etc. | es_ES |
