| dc.description | SUMMARY The production of hard corn is dedicated in its majority (70 %) to the industry of foods of use animal; the second destination represents it the exports (22 %) and the difference shares it the human consumption and the production of seeds; historically in the Ecuador the figure of 250.000 hectares has been managed, approximately. The objective of this investigation was to determine the effect of fertilization programs with microelements on the hybrid agronomic behavior of two of corn, to evaluate its effect on the yield. The work was carried out in the property "Flor María", property of Mr. Armando Ayala, located in the Km 8 road Ricaurte-Ventanas, community "San José of Flor María". the hybrid of corn Insignia and S-505 were investigated, with two big parcels and seven subtratamients (fertilizers with micronutrients) in parcels of 20 m2 that were distributed in a design of divided parcels. For the evaluation of stockings the test was used from Tukey to 5% of probability. During the cycle of the cultivation they were evaluated: height of plants, ear diameter, number of ears for plant, ear longitude, days to crop, days to flowering, weight seed, yield for hectare and an economic analysis. The results settled down that the application of fertilizers with micronutrients Micromix and Sulfamenores, in combination with macronutrients, are impacted substantially on the development and production of the evaluated crops. The biggest yield was presented in the hybrid Insignia in combination with NPK + Micromix 100 kg/ha. The smallest yield took place in both hybrid ones in the alone treated witness with NPK (7819,77 kg/ha). | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN La producción de maíz duro está destinada en su mayoría (70 %) a la industria de alimentos de uso animal; el segundo destino lo representan las exportaciones (22 %) y la diferencia la comparten el consumo humano y la producción de semillas; históricamente en el Ecuador se ha manejado la cifra de 250.000 hectáreas, aproximadamente. El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el efecto de programas de fertilización con microelementos sobre el comportamiento agronómico de dos híbridos de maíz, para evaluar su efecto sobre el rendimiento. El trabajo se realizó en la finca “Flor María”, propiedad del señor Armando Ayala, ubicada en el Km 8 vía Ricaurte-Ventanas, comunidad “San José de Flor María”. Se investigaron los híbridos de maíz Insignia y S-505, con dos parcelas grandes y siete subtratamientos (fertilizantes con micronutrientes) en parcelas de 20 m2, que se distribuyeron en un diseño de parcelas divididas. Para la evaluación de medias se utilizó la prueba de Tukey al 5 % de probabilidad. Durante el ciclo del cultivo se evaluaron: altura de plantas, diámetro de mazorca, número de mazorcas por planta, longitud de mazorca, días a cosecha, días a floración, peso semilla, rendimiento por hectárea y un análisis económico. Los resultados establecieron que la aplicación de fertilizantes con micronutrientes Micromix II y Sulfamenores V, en combinación con macronutrientes, se inciden sustancialmente sobre el desarrollo y producción de los cultivares evaluados. El mayor rendimiento se presentó en el híbrido Insignia en combinación con NPK + Micromix II 100 kg/ha. El menor rendimiento se produjo en ambos híbridos en el testigo tratado solo con NPK (7819,77 kg/ha). | es_ES |
