| dc.description.abstract | La prostitución es una actividad económica con la que se ganan la vida miles de personas, en su mayoría mujeres, en todo el mundo. Acercarse al tema sin tener en cuenta sus opiniones y sin tener claras, cuáles serían las posibilidades laborales alternativas, lejos de ayudarlas les genera problemas. Intentar “salvar” a las personas sin su consentimiento puede ser una posición bien intencionada, pero no es una forma eficaz de abordar la situación. Es necesario además conocer su estado emocional y los efectos en sus hogares y las condiciones en que desarrollan sus actividades. Así mismo, los efectos desencadenantes en su entorno familiar. Para el desarrollo de la presente investigación se consideró la recopilación del material científico a partir de textos, revistas y artículos científicos, así como de encuestas y entrevistas a los involucrados en la investigación, la misma que se determinó mediante el tipo analítico descriptivo, con una población comprendida entre la ciudadanía y las trabajadoras sexuales en la parroquia san Carlos del cantón Quevedo, evidenciándose que no todas las trabajadoras sexuales se sienten bien con su trabajo, la mayoría tienen problemas al relacionarse socialmente y además son víctimas de discriminación. | es_ES |
