dc.description	Manipulative materials are fundamental factors in the student's learning process. They are characterized by responding to educational needs such as: creativity, interaction between teacher and student, initiative and most importantly the construction of their own meaningful learning. In fact, the lack of motivating materials that help the growth of this learning will affect the pedagogical action of each student, a problem that today represents concern in teachers and in general in every educational institution, since they are responsible for ensuring the educational future of the students. So in the present work it was raised as an objective; To determine the manipulative materials and their contribution in the meaningful learning to students of the educational unit "Simon Bolivar", Pimocha parish, Babahoyo canton, Los Ríos province. It was tried to make the teachers aware of the importance of the use of these materials through the proposal that was elaborated for the same purpose. In conclusion, it was possible to say that the resources that the teacher uses in the daily activities of his academic work will be those that contribute to the students to obtain a significant learning and therefore improve the quality of their education.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Los materiales manipulativos son factores fundamentales en el proceso del aprendizaje del estudiante. Los mismos que se caracterizan por responder a necesidades educativas como: la creatividad, la interacción entre docente y estudiante, la iniciativa y lo más importante la construcción de su propio aprendizaje significativo. En efecto la falta de materiales motivadores que ayuden al crecimiento de este aprendizaje repercutirá en el accionar pedagógico de cada estudiante, problema que hoy representa preocupación en docentes y en general a en toda institución educativa, pues ellos son encargados de velar por el porvenir educativo de los estudiantes. Por lo que en el presente trabajo se planteó como objetivo; determinar los materiales manipulativos y su contribución en el aprendizaje significativo a estudiantes de la unidad educativa ¨Simón Bolívar¨, parroquia Pimocha, cantón Babahoyo, provincia Los Ríos. Se trató de concientizar a los docentes de la importancia del empleo de estos materiales a través de la propuesta que se elaboró con ese mismo fin. En conclusión se pudo decir que los recursos que el docente emplee en las actividades diarias de su quehacer académico serán los que contribuyan a que los estudiantes obtengan un aprendizaje significativo y por ende mejoren la calidad de su educación.	es_ES
