dc.description	This research determining how to potentiate abilities and skills in the development of cognitive skills in / as students of the Educational Unit "May 16" Quinsaloma canton in the province of Los Rios was established. The methodological address was aimed at the use of a research qualitative and quantitative mode supported in the types of research: applied field, literature, action and descriptive when the observation techniques used, the survey of 234 students and 45 teachers, and where the signing was applied theoretical methods: inductive - deductive, analytical; and empirical methods, the results of the investigation established that there is a 76% of students have a regular development of cognitive skills that is generated by inadequate way of augmenting the skills The proposed solution "methodology for improving the way of augmenting the skills in the development of cognitive skills strategies," decreases the degree of impact on learning and teaching material is a quality that exposes as systematic information content, oriented in relation to the established methodology and focus of the course provides general guidelines and activities that support the study.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación se estableció la FORMA DE POTENCIALIZAR HABILIDADES Y DESTREZAS EN EL DESARROLLO DE COMPETENCIAS COGNOSCITIVAS EN LOS/AS ESTUDIANTES DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA “16 DE MAYO” DEL CANTÓN QUINSALOMA EN LA PROVINCIA DE LOS RÍOS. El direccionamiento metodológico estuvo orientado en el empleo de una investigación de modalidad cuali–cuantitativa apoyada en los tipos de investigación: aplicada, de campo, bibliográfica, de acción y descriptiva en las que se utilizó las técnicas de la observación, la encuesta a 234 estudiantes y 45 docentes, y el fichaje en donde se aplicó los métodos teóricos: inductivo - deductivo, analítico; y los métodos empíricos, los resultados de la investigación establecieron que existe un 76% de los estudiantes que presentan un regular desarrollo de competencias cognoscitivas esto es generado por la inadecuada forma de potencializar las habilidades y destrezas La propuesta de solución “estrategias metodológicas para el mejoramiento de la forma de potencializar las habilidades y destrezas en el desarrollo de competencias cognoscitivas”, disminuye el grado de afectación en el aprendizaje y constituye en un material didáctico de calidad que expone en forma sistemática información acerca del contenido, orienta en relación a la metodología establecida y enfoque del curso, establece indicaciones generales y actividades que apoyen el estudio.	es_ES
