Gestational diabetes (GD) is a condition in which carbohydrate intolerance occurs and is first detected during pregnancy. This anomaly generates concern due to its relationship with complications that affect both the mother and the newborn, having a considerable impact on various medical and community settings. The general objective of this clinical case is to develop the nutritional care process in a 25-year-old female patient with gestational diabetes. The patient states that it is her first pregnancy, therefore, the clinical case is about a person who is facing this clinical condition with a high degree of uncertainty; Therefore, it is important to carry out a detailed analysis so that the problem can be stabilized so that the patient has a pregnancy within normal parameters, the intention is that the consequences are not reflected in the infant, because if not, The health of both the mother and the child could be considerably affected. The results evidenced once the nutritional intervention was carried out were that: the pregnant woman gained 2 kg, which indicates an adequate weight increase. On the other hand, glucose levels improved, reflecting a positive decrease from 136 mg/dl to 110 mg/dl. Likewise, fasting glucose values decreased from 98 mg/dl to 95 mg/dl, currently maintaining acceptable levels within this parameter. The patient achieved a significant reduction in the identified physical/clinical signs.es_ES
