| dc.description | The digital tool Xmind helps in the creation of various types of cognitive maps such as: concept maps, mind maps, brainstorming, fishbone style diagram, among others, thus allowing an interactive and creative learning during the learning process. The objective of this research work was to determine the incidence of Xmind as a digital tool in the learning process of students of basic education career at the Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. The methodology used was descriptive and explanatory research, in order to collect information from different reliable sources with a mixed research approach. For this research project, the survey was implemented as a data collection technique, which had as an instrument the questionnaire that was composed of 10 closed questions for students and teachers, using the Likert scale. The research sample consisted of 248 students and 20 teachers. Based on the data obtained, it was concluded that the digital tool Xmind has a positive impact on the learning process, contributing to the creation of creative material and generating significant learning in students of basic education career at the Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo during the academic period October 2023 - March 2024. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La herramienta digital Xmind ayuda en la creación de varios tipos de mapas cognitivos como: mapas conceptuales, mapas mentales, lluvias de ideas, diagrama a estilo espina de pescado, entre otros, permitiendo así un aprendizaje interactivo y creativo durante el proceso de aprendizaje. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue determinar la incidencia de Xmind como herramienta digital en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la carrera de educación básica de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. El utilizó como metodología el tipo de investigación descriptiva y explicativa, para de esta forma recolectar información desde diferentes fuentes confiables con un enfoque de investigación mixto. Para este proyecto investigativo, se implementó la encuesta como técnica de recolección de datos, la cual tuvo como instrumento el cuestionario que estuvo compuesto por 10 preguntas cerradas para estudiantes y docentes, utilizando la escala de Likert. La muestra de la investigación estuvo conformada por 248 estudiantes y 20 docentes. En base a los datos obtenidos se concluyó que la herramienta digital Xmind tiene una incidencia positiva en el proceso de aprendizaje, contribuyendo en la creación de material creativo y generando un aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes de la carrera de educación básica de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo durante el periodo académico octubre 2023- marzo 2024. | es_ES |
