These skills help them develop critical thinking techniques and adapt to an increasingly technological world, preparing them for success in their future education and careers. SUMMARY Digital competencies have become an essential resource for students to begin using online information, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and express their creativity in a digital environment. The objective of this research was to analyze the use of digital competencies in the educational process of high school students in the science program at the Adolfo Maria Astudillo Educational Unit. The descriptive and exploratory methodologies were applied to collect and search for information from various reliable sources using a quantitative approach. A survey was conducted using Google Forms as the data collection technique, consisting of 10 closed-ended questions for both teachers and students. The responses were based on the Likert scale with a sample of 157 students and 16 teachers. The surveys concluded that digital competencies have a significant impact on 21st-century education. It is recommended that teachers receive constant training in digital competencies to effectively and correctly utilize educational resources in the classroom and implement them in students at the Adolfo Maria Astudillo Educational Unit.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLas competencias digitales se han vuelto un recurso esencial para que los alumnos comiencen a utilizar información en línea, se comuniquen de manera efectiva, colaboren con otros y expresen su creatividad en un entorno digital. Estas destrezas les ayudan a desarrollar técnicas de pensamiento crítico y adaptarse a un mundo cada vez más tecnológico, preparándolos para el éxito en su futuro educativo y profesional. El objetivo de esta investigación fue Analizar el uso de las competencias digitales dentro del proceso educativo de los estudiantes de Bachillerato en ciencias de bachillerato en ciencias de la Unidad Educativa “Adolfo María Astudillo”. Se recurrió a aplicar las metodologías descriptiva y exploratoria con la finalidad de recolectar y buscar información de diferentes fuentes confiables a través del enfoque cuantitativo con la realización de 10 preguntas cerradas tanto para docentes como para los estudiantes, la técnica de recolección de datos fue la encuesta y el instrumento de trabajo fue Google Forms, las respuestas se basaron en la escala de Likert con una muestra de 157 alumnos y 16 docentes. Con la ejecución de las encuestas se pudo concluir que las competencias digitales generan un gran impacto en la educación del siglo XXI, se recomienda la capacitación constante de los docentes en las competencias digitales para una buena utilización de los recursos educativos en el aula y la implemente de manera correcta y efectiva en los alumnos de la Unidad Educativa “Adolfo María Astudillo”.es_ES
