Educational technology has emerged as a powerful tool to facilitate meaningful learning for students with special educational needs (SEN). These students face unique challenges in their learning process, and technology can play a crucial role in providing them with personalized support and adaptive resources that fit their individual needs. Firstly, educational technology offers a wide range of tools and devices designed specifically to address the needs of students with SEN. These may include screen reading software for students with visual impairments, speech recognition software for students with writing difficulties, and augmentative and alternative communication applications for students with communication difficulties. Furthermore, educational technology allows for the personalization of learning, which is essential for students with SEN. Adaptive computer programs can adjust the difficulty level, pace, and presentation style of learning material to the individual needs of the student, ensuring they can participate and make meaningful progress. Another key advantage of educational technology is its ability to foster the inclusion and participation of students with SEN in the classroom. Online collaboration tools and virtual learning platforms can facilitate interaction between students with and without special needs, creating a more inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all. Additionally, educational technology can help overcome physical and geographic barriers to learning. Students with SEN who face difficulties attending school regularly can benefit from access to online educational resources and virtual classes, allowing them to participate in learning from anywhere and at any time. dc.description.abstractLa tecnología educativa ha surgido como una herramienta poderosa para facilitar el aprendizaje significativo en estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales (NEE).
