dc.descriptionPhysical preparation in students with physical disabilities focuses on adapting exercise programs and physical activities to meet their specific needs, since its main objective is to improve physical and mental health, as well as promote active participation in society. The individual limitations of each student must be taken into account, adapting their training in a personalized way. This involves considering the nature and degree of the disability, as well as the student's goals and preferences. These sports preparation programs can include strengthening, flexibility and resistance exercises, adapted to the abilities of each student. Technology and specific accommodations, such as assistive devices and adaptive equipment, can facilitate the participation of students with physical disabilities in physical preparation programs. The objective of this research was to determine the impact of a sports preparation program on students with physical disabilities from the “Nuestra Señora Del Carmen” Fiscomisonal Educational Unit of the Urdaneta Canton, Province of Los Ríos, through a qualitative and quantitative approach, type descriptive and with an experimental design. In which a group of students have been selected: 1 teacher 1 physiotherapist to whom the data collection instruments were applied: interview and survey. A sports preparation program helps us participate in sports activities, contributing to self-esteem and confidence, specifically in students with physical disabilities.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa preparación física en estudiantes con discapacidad física se centra en adaptar programas de ejercicios y actividades físicas para satisfacer sus necesidades específicas, ya que su objetivo principal es mejorar la salud física y mental, así como promover la participación activa en la sociedad. Se deben tener en cuenta las limitaciones individuales de cada estudiante, adaptando su entrenamiento de manera personalizada. Esto implica considerar la naturaleza y grado de la discapacidad, así como las metas y preferencias del estudiante. Estos programas de preparación deportiva pueden incluir ejercicios de fortalecimiento, flexibilidad y resistencia, adaptados a las capacidades de cada estudiante. La tecnología y adaptaciones específicas, como dispositivos de asistencia y equipamiento adaptado, pueden facilitar la participación de estudiantes con discapacidad física en programas de preparación física. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar el impacto de un programa de preparación deportiva en estudiantes con discapacidad física de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisonal “Nuestra Señora Del Carmen” del Cantón Urdaneta, Provincia de Los Ríos, mediante un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y con un diseño experimental. En el cual se han seleccionado a un grupo de estudiantes 1 docente 1 fisioterapeuta a quienes se les aplicaron los instrumentos de recolección de datos: entrevista y encuesta. Un programa de preparación deportiva nos favorece en la participación de actividades deportivas, contribuyendo en su autoestima y confianza, específicamente en estudiantes con discapacidad física.es_ES
