| dc.description | The city of Babahoyo, located in the province of Los Ríos Ecuador, stands out for its history, culture and natural resources. Despite having various tourist resources, the lack of specific proposals to develop sensory tourist activities aimed at school-age children has been identified. Therefore, the need arises to design a program of sensory tourist experiences in the city of Babahoyo, aimed at school-age children to stimulate their senses in an educational way that satisfy their needs and promote their education with the natural environment and identity. Culture of the city of Babahoyo. With a research based on a non-experimental design and an exploratory scope with a quantitative approach, thus allowing us to understand the experiences and opinions of parents through surveys, in addition interviews were carried out with professionals in the field, the conclusion was reached; that in the tourism sector there is a lack of this type of activities designed especially for school-age children and the collaboration of specialists is recommended to identify strategic places for this type of activity. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La ciudad de Babahoyo, situada en la provincia de Los Ríos Ecuador, se destaca por su historia, cultura y recursos naturales. A pesar de contar con diversos recursos turísticos, se ha identificado la falta de propuestas específicas para desarrollar actividades turísticas sensoriales dirigidas a niños en edad escolar. Por lo tanto, surge la necesidad de diseñar un programa de experiencias turísticas sensoriales en la ciudad de Babahoyo, dirigido a niños de edad escolar para estimular sus sentidos de manera educativa, que satisfagan sus necesidades y fomenten su educación con el entorno natural y la identidad cultural de la ciudad de Babahoyo. Con una investigación basada en un diseño no experimental y de alcance exploratorio con un enfoque cuantitativo, permitiendo así comprender las experiencias y opiniones de los padres de familia mediante encuestas, además se realizaron entrevistas a profesionales en el campo, se llegó a la conclusión; que en el sector turístico carecen de este tipo de actividades diseñadas especialmente para niños en edad escolar y se recomienda la colaboración de especialistas para identificar lugares estratégicos para este tipo de actividad. | es_ES |
