dc.descriptionProfessional ethics plays a fundamental role in job performance, it is reflected in the behavior, integrity and responsibility of the secretariat in the exercise of its functions, contributing to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the secretariat in its daily work. The research objective of this final project was to determine professional ethics and its impact on the work performance of the Secretariat in the Prefecture of Los Ríos. In this sense, a mixed descriptive and exploratory methodological approach was used, with a non-experimental, transversal design, where the study unit was made up of officials from the Prefecture of Los Ríos with a total of 17 to whom the survey was applied through a questionnaire with 11 questions on a Liker scale. In relation to the theoretical aspects and the results obtained, it has been concluded that there is a high level of professional ethics (61.22%) in relation to the good work performance of the secretariats; However, regarding the environment and performance evaluation process, they are not in line with the professional growth of the secretariats in the Prefecture of Los Ríos, since the lack of a system focused on obtaining results when evaluating employees is evident. officials, in the same way deficiencies in conflict resolution. Therefore, it is necessary to have a training program that covers all personnel based on compliance with professional ethics.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa ética profesional juega un papel fundamental en el desempeño laboral, se refleja en el comportamiento, la integridad y la responsabilidad de la secretaria en el ejercicio de sus funciones, contribuyen a mejorar la eficiencia y eficacia de la secretaria en su labor diaria. El presente proyecto final tuvo como objetivo de investigación determinar la Ética profesional y su incidencia con el desempeño laboral de la Secretaria en la Prefectura de Los Ríos. En tal sentido se utilizó un enfoque metodológico mixto descriptivo y exploratorio, de diseño no experimental, transversal, donde la unidad de estudio estuvo conformada por los funcionarios de la Prefectura de Los Ríos con un total de 17 a quienes se les aplicó la encuesta mediante un cuestionario de 11 preguntas en escala de Likert. En relación con los aspectos teóricos y los resultados obtenidos se ha concluido que existe un alto nivel de la ética profesional (61.22%) de relación con el buen desempeño laboral de las secretarias; sin embargo, en lo respecta al entorno y proceso de evaluación de desempeño no están acordes al crecimiento profesional de las secretarias en la Prefectura de Los Ríos, ya que se evidencia la falta de un sistema enfocado a obtener los resultados a la hora de evaluar a los funcionarios, de la misma manera deficiencias en la resolución de conflictos. Por lo tanto, es necesario contar con un programa de capacitación que abarque a todo el personal que tenga como base el cumplimiento de la ética profesional.es_ES
