dc.descriptionWithin the development of this scientific research, a topic of great academic relevance will be addressed, which directly influences the development of student learning, and in this context I refer to the comprehensive reading that leads us to awaken the ability to interpret all information read and transform it into new knowledge that will serve for life, that is, comprehensive reading is considered one of the fundamental pillars in the learning process, which shapes and structures the basis of thought. This is especially true for students in the eighth year of Higher Basic Education of the Municipal Educational Unit Ciudad de Quevedo, canton Quevedo, Province of Los Ríos. In addition, we will address issues related to the technological era and how it has become one of the main reasons for the decline in the habit, or low interest in reading, causing or generating low academic performance, which are mostly caused by the lack of mastery of comprehension strategies. We will discover great scientific contributions of several authors specialized in the subject of pedagogical strategies tending to promote and increase cognitive development, through the implementation of new strategies and techniques of reading comprehension and linguistic skills that will open the way to the enrichment of our cultural lexicon. We will know the different methods, techniques and instruments used to know that the problem, as well as the alternatives of solution to the concrete problem or to diminish it considerably, because it will show the ideal way to increase the habit of reading, so we will have demonstrated our hypothesis.es_ES

dc.description.abstractDentro del desarrollo de esta investigación científica, se abordará un tema de gran relevancia académica, que influye de forma directa con el desarrollo del aprendizaje de los estudiantes, y en ese contexto me refiero a la lectura comprensiva que nos lleva a despertar la habilidad de interpretar toda información leída y transformarla en nuevos conocimientos que servirán para toda la vida, es decir, la lectura comprensiva es considerada uno de los pilares fundamentales en el proceso de aprendizaje , que da forma y estructura a la base del pensamiento. Especialmente en los alumnos de Octavo año de Educación Básica Superior de la Unidad Educativa Municipal Ciudad de Quevedo, cantón Quevedo Provincia de los Ríos. Además, se abordarán temas relacionados a la era tecnológica y la forma en que ésta se ha convertido en una de las razones principales de la disminución del hábito, o bajo interés por la lectura, ocasionando o generando un bajo rendimiento académico, que mayormente son causados por la falta de dominio de las estrategias de comprensión. Descubriremos grandes aportes científicos de varios autores especializados en el tema de estrategias pedagógicas tendientes a fomentar e incrementar el desarrollo cognitivo, a través de la implementación de nuevas estrategias y técnicas de comprensión lectora y habilidades lingüísticas que abrirán el camino a el enriquecimiento de nuestro léxico cultural. Conoceremos los diferentes métodos, técnicas e instrumentos empleados para conocer que el problema, así como también las alternativas de solución al problema concreto o a disminuirlo de forma considerable, porque se mostrara el camino ideal para incrementar el hábito de la lectura, por lo que habremos demostrado nuestra hipótesis planteada.es_ES
