In Ecuador, the agricultural sector is developed as an extremely important activity because it has grown significantly and Ecuadorians want to consume organic foods, such as fruits that are edible and come from different plants. The priority of this study is to promote the use of organic fertilizers, focusing on two main purposes: the care and protection of the environment and its implementation in agricultural fields as a necessary contribution to achieve and generate sources of nutrients and changes in the structure of the soil, which suffer from the excess of chemicals used in agriculture. The country has high agricultural potential for the production of many fruit trees that are of native and exotic origin for the purpose of self-consumption and marketing both nationally and internationally. Most of the Ecuadorian territory is dedicated to fruit cultivars. Finally, it was determined that the implementation of organic fertilizers as an alternative to increase the production of fruit trees in Ecuador emerges as a promising and sustainable solution in agriculture. Throughout this research, it has been shown that organic fertilizers not only improve soil quality, but also promote the health of trees, increase resistance to diseases and pests, and promote environmental conservation.es_ES
