dc.descriptionEating behaviors worldwide are complex mental health diseases that are related to other types of factors such as low self-esteem, body image and beauty stereotypes; that affect adolescents and young women; these are some of the factors that have led to eating behaviors being the third common chronic disease among young people, reaching an incidence of 5%. For the World Health Organization, AC is among the groups of mental illnesses as a priority for children and adolescents with the health risks that these behaviors imply. In the present study the objective is to analyze the eating behaviors that affect the self-esteem of adolescents in the citadel "El Fortín" of the city of Guayaquil of passages 11, 12, 13,14, 15; whose population is 150 adolescents, through a simple random sampling formula, data were obtained from 72 adolescents ranging from 12 to 19 years old, who participated in the two established phases; As a first instance, we had to perform the Rosenberg self-esteem test that evaluates the level of self-esteem and a second questionnaire (EAT-26) that assesses possible eating behaviors. According to the results obtained, the population has low and average self-esteem; through which (EAT-26) had 35% of possible cases of eating behavior. Finally, it was determined that there is a possible relationship between eating behaviors and self-esteem.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLas conductas alimentarias a nivel mundial, son enfermedades de salud mental complejas que se relacionan con otros tipos de factores tal como la baja autoestima, imagen corporal y estereotipos de belleza; que afectan a adolescentes y mujeres jóvenes; estos son algunas de los factores que han llevado a que las conductas alimentarias sea la tercera enfermedad crónica común entre los jóvenes llegando a una incidencia del 5%. Para la Organización Mundial de la Salud, las CA esta entre los grupos de enfermedades mentales como prioridad a niños y adolescentes con riesgos de salud que estas conductas implican. En el presente estudio el objetivo es analizar las conductas alimentarias que afectan la autoestima de los adolescentes en la ciudadela “El Fortín” de la ciudad de Guayaquil de los pasajes 11, 12, 13,14, 15; que tienen como población 150 adolescentes, que mediante una fórmula de muestreo aleatorio simple, se obtuvieron los datos de 72 adolescentes que varían de entre 12 a 19 años, los cuales fueron participe de las dos fases establecida; como primera instancia tuvimos la realización del test de autoestima de Rosenberg que evalúa el nivel de autoestima y un segundo cuestionario (EAT-26) que valora posibles conductas alimentarias. De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos la población tiene una autoestima baja y media; mediante que el (EAT-26) tuvo un 35% de posibles casos de conducta alimentaria. Finalmente se determinó que si existe una posible relación entre las conductas alimentarias y la autoestima.es_ES
