dc.descriptionAccording to the research titled: "Vocational guidance in the choice of the university career of third-year BGU students of the Ángel Polibio Chaves Educational Unit of the city of Guaranda", where vocational guidance is based on guiding students in making decisions about their professional future since within the educational system this process is often very deficient and the student is not accompanied during the choice of a professional career that matches their interests. The main objective is to analyze vocational and professional guidance programs that allow the creation of a program for the process of choosing a university career, the sample was non-probabilistic of 69 students from the educational institution. Regarding the methodology, the type of research was descriptive, with a mixed approach and under a non-experimental design. The instruments used were a Likert scale-type questionnaire on the vocational guidance process, which was validated by specialists in the area, and a professional interests questionnaire (CIPSA). The results obtained showed that students do not recognize their abilities, interests, and skills that help them choose a professional career, however, they know the importance of receiving adequate guidance on the vocational guidance process. It was also identified that the majority Some students do not know about the different careers that exist and feel confused when it comes to making professional decisions.es_ES

dc.description.abstractDe acuerdo a la investigación titulada: “Orientación vocacional en la elección en la carrera universitaria de los estudiantes de tercero BGU de la Unidad Educativa Ángel Polibio Chaves de la cuidad de Guaranda”, en donde la orientación vocacional se basa en orientar a los estudiantes en la toma de decisiones sobre su futuro profesional, pues dentro del sistema educativo muchas veces este proceso es muy deficiente y no se acompaña al estudiante durante la elección de una carrera profesional que vaya de acuerdo a sus interés. El objetivo principal es analizar programas de orientación vocacional y profesional que permita la creación de un programa para el proceso de la elección de una carrera universitaria, la muestra fue no probabilística de 69 estudiantes de la institución educativa. En cuanto a la metodología, el tipo de investigación fue descriptiva, con un enfoque mixto y bajo un diseño no experimental. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron, un cuestionario de tipo escala de Likert sobre el proceso de orientación vocacional, el cual fue validado por especialistas en el área y un cuestionario de intereses profesionales (CIPSA). En los resultados obtenidos se demostró que los estudiantes no reconocen sus habilidades, intereses y destrezas que los ayude a elegir una carrera profesional, sin embargo, conocen la importancia de recibir una guía adecuada sobre el proceso de orientación vocacional, también se identificó que la mayor parte de los estudiantes no conocen sobre las distintas carreras que existen y se sienten confundidos en cuanto a la toma de decisiones profesionales.es_ES
