dc.description"Parental absence" has a significant impact on the lives of adolescents. It can influence their emotional well-being, psychological development, academic performance, and ability to form social relationships. These and other factors associated with parental absence are analyzed in this research. "Social-emotional state" refers to the combination of social and emotional factors that determine an individual's psychological and social well-being. In this study, descriptive research methodology was used as it is a scientific approach used to describe, explain, and understand particular phenomena. This type of methodology is based on the observation and collection of data from events, situations, individuals, or groups to obtain detailed and accurate information on a specific topic of study. A non-experimental design was used. Non-experimental design is a type of research design that is characterized by the absence of deliberate manipulation of independent variables by the researcher. The study is based on interviews with adolescents living in the El Mirador sector. A population of 70 adolescents was used and 43 adolescents were sampled. The results indicate that the quality of the relationship between parents and children during adolescence can vary significantly depending on the degree of communication, support, and involvement of parents in their children's lives. It also reflected that there are areas of improvement for many adolescents in terms of stress management, decision-making, self-confidence, life satisfaction and emotional coping skills. The importance of understanding and addressing the effects of parental absence on the socio-emotional development of adolescents in the El Mirador sector is highlighted. This includes implementing intervention and support strategies aimed at both adolescents and their families to improve their emotional and social well-being.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa “ausencia parental” tiene un impacto significativo en la vida de los adolescentes. Puede influir en su bienestar emocional, en su desarrollo psicológico, en su rendimiento académico y en su capacidad para establecer relaciones sociales. Estos y otros factores asociados con la ausencia parental son analizados en la presente investigación. El "estado socioemocional" se refiere a la combinación de factores sociales y emocionales que determinan el bienestar psicológico y social de un individuo. En este estudio se utilizó la metodología de investigación descriptiva ya que es un enfoque científico utilizado para describir, explicar y comprender fenómenos particulares. Este tipo de metodología se basa en la observación y recolección de datos de eventos, situaciones, individuos o grupos para obtener información detallada y precisa sobre un tema de estudio específico. Se empleo un diseño no experimental. El diseño no experimental es un tipo de diseño de investigación que se caracteriza por la ausencia de manipulación deliberada de las variables independientes por parte del investigador. El estudio se basa en entrevistas realizadas a adolescentes que viven en el sector El Mirador. Se utilizo una población de 70 adolescentes y se tomó como muestra a 43 adolescentes. Los resultados indican que la calidad de la relación entre padres e hijos durante la adolescencia puede variar significativamente según el grado de comunicación, apoyo y participación de los padres en la vida de sus hijos. Así mismo se reflejó que hay áreas de mejora para muchos adolescentes en términos de manejo del estrés, toma de decisiones, autoconfianza, satisfacción con la vida y habilidades de afrontamiento emocional. Se destaca la importancia de comprender y abordar los efectos de la ausencia parental en el desarrollo socioemocional de los adolescentes en el sector El Mirador. Esto incluye la implementación de estrategias de intervención y apoyo dirigidas tanto a los adolescentes como a sus familias para mejorar su bienestar emocional y social.es_ES
