dc.description | The interaction between psychological and social factors creates a complex environment that impacts the lives of those who suffer from alcohol dependence. These components include, among others, stress, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, family environment, social pressures, and traumatic experiences. The present curriculum integration work addresses the issue of alcohol dependence, exploring the psychosocial factors influencing the residents of the 24-Hour Addiction Rehabilitation Center in the San José de Chimbo Canton. It focuses on understanding the complexity of this addiction. This research is descriptive in nature, with a quantitative approach. It is worth mentioning that it is feasible due to the authorization, accessibility, and collaboration of the residents and representatives of the institution. It aims to address ethical considerations and confidentiality, utilizing updated bibliography and relevant research references. The results obtained indicate that daily alcohol consumption always negatively affects daily life and responsibilities, impacting 60% of the surveyed population. Additionally, 40% mention that this substance almost always affects their lives. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La interacción entre factores psicológicos y sociales crea un entorno complicado que afecta la vida de aquellos que sufren de dependencia al alcohol. Estos componentes incluyen, entre otros, el estrés, la ansiedad, la depresión, las relaciones interpersonales, el entorno familiar, las presiones sociales y las experiencias traumáticas. El presente trabajo de integración curricular aborda la problemática de la dependencia al alcohol, explorando los factores psicosociales que influyen en los internos del Centro de Rehabilitación de Adicciones 24 Horas en el Cantón San José de Chimbo. Se enfoca en comprender la complejidad de esta adicción. Esta investigación es de tipo descriptiva, con un enfoque cuantitativo, cabe mencionar que es factible debido a que se cuenta con la autorización, accesibilidad y colaboración de los internos y representantes de la institución. Se busca abordar desde la ética y confidencialidad, se dispone de bibliografía actualizada y referentes investigativos pertinentes. Los resultados obtenidos señalan que el consumo cotidiano de alcohol afecta siempre negativamente la vida diaria y las responsabilidades cotidianas, afectando al 60% de la población encuestada, así mismo el 40%, menciona que, casi siempre esta sustancia afecta su vida. | es_ES |
