| dc.description | This study aims to comprehensively examine the impact of digital media on the format of live news, encompassing its evolution and relevance in various spheres: international, national, and local. Globalization and the proliferation of online platforms have played a fundamental role in transforming the media landscape, significantly altering the way information is disseminated and consumed. In this regard, emphasis is placed on the speed and immediacy with which news is transmitted in the digital environment, contrasting with traditional formats of dissemination. While exploring this phenomenon, important ethical questions are also raised, particularly regarding the balance between the speed of dissemination and the accuracy in presenting facts. The need to maintain high standards of truthfulness becomes crucial in an environment where information circulates at a dizzying speed. Additionally, the impact of social media and interactivity on the perception and participation of the public in the creation and consumption of live news is analyzed. These platforms have reshaped the dynamics of communication, granting users a more active role and enabling greater interaction between information providers and receivers. The study examines how local media adapt to this new paradigm, facing particular challenges in a context of competition with globally-reaching outlets. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio se propone examinar exhaustivamente el impacto de los medios de comunicación digital en el formato de noticias en vivo, abarcando tanto su evolución como su relevancia en diversos ámbitos: internacional, nacional y local. La globalización y la proliferación de plataformas en línea han desempeñado un papel fundamental en la transformación del panorama mediático, alterando significativamente la manera en que se difunde y consume la información. En este sentido, se hace hincapié en la velocidad y la inmediatez con que las noticias son transmitidas en el entorno digital, lo cual contrasta con los formatos tradicionales de difusión. Al explorar este fenómeno, se plantean también importantes cuestiones éticas, especialmente en lo que respecta al equilibrio entre la velocidad de difusión y la precisión en la presentación de los hechos. La necesidad de mantener altos estándares de veracidad se vuelve crucial en un entorno donde la información circula a una velocidad vertiginosa. Además, se analiza el impacto de las redes sociales y la interactividad en la percepción y participación del público en la elaboración y consumo de noticias en vivo. Estas plataformas han modificado la dinámica de la comunicación, otorgando a los usuarios un papel más activo y permitiendo una mayor interacción entre emisores y receptores de información.
