dc.descriptionThe present research work sought to determine the incidence of educational mistreatment in school dropout. In today's education, school dropout is increasingly recurrent, even more in cities with a high percentage of students in rural or marginal urban areas, who encounter a high degree of difficulties in accessing education. If this stigmatization of students from rural or marginal urban areas is added to the bullying or educational mistreatment suffered by students, this becomes a social problem in the educational field that must be considered. The present investigation dealt with mistreatment among educational peers, which is one of the most common forms of mistreatment in school dropout. This research was conducted at the "23 de Junio" Educational Unit in the city of Baba, province of Los Ríos, Ecuador. A survey was made to the totality of the population affected in the study, dropout students in the school period 2022 - 2023, of the last two years of high school, which was thirty-seven students. Three questions were applied with a qualitative approach, which was analyzed based on the response of all students; and seven questions with a quantitative indicator, which was of a quantitative approach of a descriptive correlational type.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación buscó conocer la incidencia del maltrato educativo dentro de la deserción escolar. En la educación actual cada vez es más recurrente la deserción escolar, aún más en las ciudades con mayor cantidad de estudiantes en zonas rurales o urbanos marginales, quienes encuentran un alto grado de dificultades para el acceso a la educación. Si a este estigma de los estudiantes de la población rural o urbano marginal, se le aumenta el acoso escolar o maltrato educativo que sufren los estudiantes, esto se vuelve un problema social en el ámbito educativo que debe ser tomado en cuenta. La presente investigación abordó el maltrato entre pares educativos, el cual es uno de los tipos de violencia que mas incidencia tiene dentro de la deserción escolar. Esta investigación se ejecutó en la Unidad Educativa “23 de Junio” de la ciudad de Baba, provincia de Los Ríos, Ecuador. Se realizó una encuesta a la totalidad de la población afectada en el estudio, estudiantes desertores en el período lectivo 2022 – 2023, de los dos últimos años de estudio de bachillerato, el cual fue de treinta y siete estudiantes. Se aplicaron tres preguntas con un enfoque cualitativo, que fue analizado en base a la respuesta de la totalidad de estudiantes; y siete preguntas con un indicador cuantitativo, el cual fue de enfoque cuantitativo tipo descriptivo correlacional.es_ES
