dc.descriptionConsumption is a problem that affects children, adolescents and adults and over time it is a progressive problem. Ecuador has one of the highest levels of drug abuse in Latin America, with a prevalence of 51%; If one of the countries is the most affected by this problem, the embargo is still affected globally. For this reason, this case study was carried out with the objective of analyzing the incidence of drug consumption on the mental health of a 23-year-old adolescent from the state of Echeandía Canton, and provided the psychological methods that led to the lives of consumers. young people this is an opportunity to improve their quality of life. This research is based on the methodology of cultural research, qualitative research follows the description and categorization of common words, phrases and ideas in qualitative data, which provides information that allows us to understand and analyze reality. The methods used are: clinical and psychometric. The following techniques are used: structured interview, clinical observation, clinical history, Hamilton Anxiety Test, Beck Depression Test, Perceived Scale Test, Assist Scale V3.0 and Dast 10 test. The results of this investigation were reported to be a diagnostic report that was detected by the DSM-5 and that was caused by a depressive disorder, due to the consumption of other (or unknown) substances. The patient's symptoms of drug use influence the mental health of a 23-year-old girl, causing signs and symptoms that change her life and alter important conditions in her life.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl consumo es una problemática que afecta a niños, adolescentes y adultos y con el pasar del tiempo esta afectación crece de manera progresiva. Ecuador tiene una de las tasas de abuso de drogas más altas de América Latina, con una tasa de prevalencia del 51%; siendo uno de los países de mayor afectación en esta problemática, sin embargo este fenómeno afecta a nivel mundial. Por este motivo, se realizó el presente estudio de caso con la finalidad de analizar la Incidencia del consumo de drogas en la salud mental de un adolescente de 23 años de edad del recinto Sabanetillas del cantón Echeandía, y brindar métodos psicológicos que aporten a la vida de los jóvenes consumidores siendo esto un apoyo para mejorar su calidad de vida. Esta investigación se llevó a cabo por medio de la metodología de investigación cualitativa, la investigación cualitativa ayudo a la descripción y categorización de las palabras, frases e ideas comunes en los datos cualitativos, que arrojaron información que permitió comprender y analizar tal realidad. Los métodos utilizados son: clínico y psicométrico. En consiguiente las técnicas utilizadas fueron: entrevista estructurada, observación clínica, historia clínica, test de ansiedad de Hamilton, test de depresión de Beck, la Escala de Estrés Percibido, Escala Assist V3.0 y test Dast 10. Los resultados de la presente investigación nos dieron como resultado un cuerdo diagnóstico de acuerdo a lo dicho por el DSM-5 la cual se trata de un trastorno depresivo, por consumo de otra sustancia (o desconocida). Las sintomatologías del paciente por el consumo de droga fueron una influencia en la salud mental del adolescente de 23 años, causando signos y síntomas que cambiarian su vida y alterarían los ámbitos importantes en su vida.es_ES
