| dc.description | The present case study was developed with the purpose of analyzing how family abandonment affects the mental health of an adult over 73 years of age from Cantón Quevedo, who has been triggering problems with her two daughters with whom she currently does not live. and is in a situation of abandonment. Family abandonment abandonment emphasizes neglect, lack of attention from both family and society, which strongly affects the psychological and emotional aspects of the elderly person. This situation has caused him to seek emotional support of his own free will, mentioning that approximately 6 months ago he has exhibited symptoms such as sadness, loneliness, crying, hopelessness, loss of appetite, cognitive distortions, problems falling asleep and low self-esteem. This case study has a qualitative approach, collecting data through techniques and instruments. Activities were carried out through an intervention or therapy plan to reduce symptoms that afflict the patient's life. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso se desarrolló con la finalidad de analizar cómo incide el abandono familiar en la salud mental en una adulta mayor de 73 años de edad del Cantón Quevedo, misma que ha venido desencadenando problemas con sus dos hijas con las cuales en la actualidad no convive y se encuentra en situación de abandono. El abandono familiar el abandono hace énfasis al descuido, falta de atención tanto de familiares como de la sociedad, lo cual afecta rotundamente en aspectos psicológicos y emocionales de la persona adulta mayor. Esta situación ha generado que busca apoyo emocional por voluntad propia, mencionando que hace aproximadamente 6 meses exhibe sintomatología como tristeza, soledad, llanto, desesperanza, pérdida de apetito, distorsiones cognitivas, problemas en conciliación del sueño y baja autoestima. Este estudio de caso cuenta con un enfoque cualitativo, recolectando datos por medio de técnicas e instrumentos. Se realizaron actividades a través de un plan de intervención o terapia para reducir síntomas que aquejan la vida de la paciente. | es_ES |
