When asking caregivers if the negative feelings after the loss of a loved one have lasted after 6 to 8 months, they have persisted, which indicates that the majority of older adults have a complicated grieving process, which is why The intervention is necessary, resulting in older adults who conclude that they are in a complicated grieving process, while on the other hand they have a normal and adequate grieving process. Therefore, a psychosocial care guide for the elderly can be created to strengthen self-esteem and emotional state, which helps the family to contribute to recovering the adequate functioning of the elderly adult's life.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLos adultos mayores constituyen una parte fundamental de la sociedad, quienes aportan con su experiencia, su sabiduría y por ende son parte de la dinámica familiar y social, basándose en lo estipulado según la organización mundial de la salud donde se manifiesta a los adultos mayores como aquella persona que tengan más de 60 años en los países que se encuentren en vía de desarrollo, se identificó que ellos presenta sentimientos negativos generando cambios en su diario vivir debido a la pérdida de su pareja. Al preguntar a los cuidadores, si los sentimientos negativos después de la pérdida del ser querido han perdurado pasados 6 a 8 meses, han perdurado, lo que indica que la mayoría de los adultos mayores lleva un proceso de duelo complicado, por lo que es necesaria la intervención, dando resultado los adultos mayores se concluyó que, está en un proceso de duelo complicado, mientras que por otra parte tienen un proceso de duelo normal y adecuado. Por lo cual se pueda crear una guía de cuidado psicosocial del adulto mayor para el fortalecimiento de autoestima y estado emocional, que ayude a la familia a contribuir en recuperar el adecuado funcionamiento de vida del adulto mayor.es_ES
