The results of this case study indicate that the patient meets the diagnostic parameters according to the DSM-5, which is a depressive disorder. | dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo el problema de salud mental que incide en adicciones en un adolescente de 17 años, mismo que se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Quevedo, debido a que presenta afectaciones cognitivas e intelectuales que están afectando su desarrollo interpersonal y escolar. La presente investigación se lleva a cabo mediante la metodología mixta, ya que se utilizaron técnicas que permitieron obtener datos tantos cuantitativos y cualitativos, estos métodos utilizados son métodos clínicos y psicométricos, también se utilizaron las siguientes técnicas: entrevista semiestructurada, historia clínica, observación clínica, escala ASSIST V3.0, inventario de depresión de Beck y H.T.P. Los resultados que arrojo este estudio de caso indican que el paciente cumple con los parámetros de diagnóstico de acuerdo al DSM-5 que es un trastorno depresivo, los síntomas del paciente conlleva un periodo de aumento de tres meses, es decir que los problemas de salud mental inciden en adicciones en el joven de 17 años, estos mismos problemas desencadenan en el paciente síntomas que afectan su calidad de vida a nivel interpersonal y en ámbitos importantes de su vida. | es_ES |
