| dc.description | Chronic kidney failure is classified as a non-communicable disease or appears due to epidemiological and demographic changes, and its important impact on the population in relation to disease and disability. Based on the above, the type of diet each patient eats will significantly influence the treatment they require, taking into account the customs and idiosyncrasies of each individual. Therefore, nutritional counseling plays an important role in the different stages of CKD, preventing overweight, obesity and malnutrition, the latter mainly in the dialysis stage. On the other hand, hemodialysis is a means predestined to replace kidney function. This treatment completely changes the patient's lifestyle. There are many alternatives that could become an initiative. In people with chronic kidney failure, depending on the patient's health and condition, hemodialysis or kidney transplant may be more effective. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La insuficiencia renal crónica se cataloga como una enfermedad no transmisible o aparece debido a cambios epidemiológicos y demográficos, y su importante impacto en la población en relación con la enfermedad y la discapacidad. En base a lo anteriormente planteado, el tipo de alimentación que lleve cada paciente influirá de manera significativa en el tratamiento que requiera, teniendo en cuenta las costumbres e idiosincrasia de cada individuo. Por lo tanto, la asesoría nutricional juega un papel importante en los diferentes estadios de la IRC, previniendo el sobrepeso, la obesidad y la desnutrición, esta última principalmente en la etapa de diálisis. Por otro lado, la hemodiálisis es un medio predestinado a Reemplazar la función renal. Este tratamiento cambia por completo el estilo de vida del paciente. Hay muchas alternativas que podrían convertirse en una iniciativa. En personas con insuficiencia renal crónica, dependiendo de la salud y el estado del paciente, la hemodiálisis o el trasplante de riñón pueden ser más eficaces. | es_ES |
