| dc.description | This research focuses on the study of internal and external communication in the Department of Executive and Administrative Function of the Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) of Urdaneta Canton during the period 2022. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the internal and external communication in the study department of the institution, with a descriptive approach. It is based on a documentary and field research, which includes the review of existing literature and the collection of information through interviews, direct observation and bibliographic sources. The qualitative methodology is used to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation of the Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) of Urdaneta, and the results will be used to develop a SWOT analysis based on the interview with the secretary responsible for communication management in the GAD. The results of this case study will provide an in-depth understanding of communication in the Department of Executive and Administrative Function of the GAD Municipal de Urdaneta during the year 2022, identifying areas for improvement and recommendations to strengthen both internal and external communication in this government entity. This study will contribute to a more efficient and transparent management at the municipal level and will serve as a reference for future research in the field of organizational communication in the public sector. It is important to emphasize that communication plays a crucial role at all levels of the entity, as it is fundamental to ensure effective internal and external control and to achieve the organization's objectives. The necessary information must be identified and shared so that staff can carry out their tasks and responsibilities effectively. | dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se enfoca en el estudio de la comunicación interna y externa en el Departamento de Función Ejecutiva y Administrativa del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado (GAD) Municipal del Cantón Urdaneta durante el período 2022. El propósito de esta investigación es evaluar la comunicación interna y externa en el departamento de estudio de la institución, con un enfoque descriptivo. Se basa en una investigación documental y de campo, que incluye la revisión de literatura existente y la recopilación de información a través de entrevistas, observación directa y fuentes bibliográficas. La metodología cualitativa se utiliza para comprender en profundidad la situación actual del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado (GAD) de Urdaneta, y los resultados se utilizarán para desarrollar un análisis FODA a partir de la entrevista con la secretaria responsable de la gestión de la comunicación en el GAD. Los resultados de este estudio de caso proporcionarán una comprensión profunda de la comunicación en el Departamento de Función Ejecutiva y Administrativa del GAD Municipal de Urdaneta durante el año 2022, identificando áreas de mejora y recomendaciones para fortalecer tanto la comunicación interna como la externa en esta entidad gubernamental. Este estudio contribuirá a una gestión más eficiente y transparente en el ámbito municipal y servirá como referencia para futuras investigaciones en el campo de la comunicación organizacional en el sector público. Es importante resaltar que la comunicación desempeña un papel crucial en todos los niveles de la entidad, ya que es fundamental para garantizar un control efectivo tanto interno como externo y lograr los objetivos de la organización.
