| dc.description | In a world where information constantly flows through the web, digital media have the responsibility of offering content that not only attracts the attention of its audience, but is also reliable and truthful. This is crucial to maintaining public trust in the media and promoting informed debate on important issues. When digital media publish attractive content, they capture the attention of the audience, which facilitates the dissemination of relevant information and, at the same time, contributes to a more aware and engaged society. The objective of the present study is to analyze the quality of the news published in the digital medium “Byron en todos”, in the Canton of San Juan, in the year 2023. The present study has a non-experimental design with a qualitative approach. The types of research used are bibliographic and field. The research techniques applied were survey and interview, for which it was necessary to use a survey questionnaire and an interview guide. The results of the research allowed us to conclude that: The content disseminated in the digital medium "Byron en Todos" lacks a defined theme, since it covers a variety of elements, such as news, events, social assistance, family messages, advertising and broadcasts in live that lack relevance, which causes a decrease in audience interest | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En un mundo donde la información fluye constantemente a través de la web, los medios digitales tienen la responsabilidad de ofrecer contenido que no solo atrae la atención de su audiencia, sino que también sea confiable y veraz. Esto es crucial para mantener la confianza del público en los medios y para promover un debate informado sobre temas importantes. Cuando los medios digitales publican contenido atractivo, captan la atención de la audiencia, lo que facilita la difusión de información relevante y, al mismo tiempo, contribuye a una sociedad más consciente y comprometida. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar la calidad de las noticias publicadas en el medio digital “Byron en todas”, del Cantón San Juan, en el año 2023. El presente estudio tiene un diseño no experimental con enfoque cualitativo. Los tipos de investigación empleados son bibliográfica y de campo. Las técnicas investigativas aplicadas fueron encuesta y entrevista, para lo cual fue necesario la utilización de un cuestionario de encuesta y una guía de entrevista. Los resultados de la investigación permitieron concluir que: El contenido difundido en el medio digital "Byron en Todas" carece de una temática definida, ya que abarca una variedad de elementos, como noticias, eventos, asistencia social, mensajes familiares, publicidad y transmisiones en vivo que carecen de relevancia, lo que provoca una disminución del interés de la audiencia. | es_ES |
