dc.descriptionThis document addressed the topic of agronomic management of the cashew crop (Anacardium occidentale). and its effect on the performance and quality of its texture in consumption. This type of crop is produced in Ecuadorian territory. because it presents anomalies that affect this type of crop. Preserve natural resources and increase the profitability of farmers, given that there are numerous factors that influence both the productivity of crops and the quality and nutritional value of this fruit, however, the main objective is to describe the agronomic management of the crop. Cashew nut (Anacardium occidentale). A methodology was carried out with updated data. Furthermore, to prepare this document, information was sought in updated texts, web pages, magazines, scientific articles, virtual libraries and all valuable bibliographic material for the development of this research. The results obtained regarding the agronomic management of cashew cultivation are used mainly for the purpose of preventing soil erosion and improving the appearance of peripheral areas; current production is insufficient to satisfy this demand in global and local markets. It was concluded that it is essential to maximize economic benefits and promote food security. By applying practices such as suitable site selection, efficient water management, proper fertilization and pest and disease control, it is recommended to diversify income sources and establish a gradual approach in adopting innovative technologies in cashew cultivation.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente documento abordó el tema sobre manejo agronómico del cultivo de marañón (Anacardium occidentale) y su efecto en el rendimiento y calidad en su textura en consumo. Este tipo de cultivo es producido en territorio ecuatoriano debido a que presenta anomalías que afectan a este tipo de cultivo. Preservar los recursos naturales y aumentar la rentabilidad de los agricultores, dado que existen numerosos factores que influyen tanto en la productividad de los cultivos como en la calidad y valor nutricional de este fruto. El objetivo principal es describir el manejo agronómico del Cultivo de Marañón (Anacardium occidentale). Se realizo una metodología con datos actualizados. Además, para la elaboración de este presente documento se buscó información en textos actualizados, páginas web, revistas, artículos científicos, bibliotecas virtuales y todo material bibliográfico valioso para el desarrollo de esta investigación. Los resultados obtenidos en cuanto al manejo agronómico del cultivo de marañón se emplean principalmente con el propósito de prevenir la erosión del suelo y mejorar la apariencia de áreas periféricas, la producción actual resulta insuficiente para satisfacer esta demanda en los mercados globales y locales. Se llego a la conclusión, que es esencial para maximizar los beneficios económicos y promover la seguridad alimentaria. Al aplicar prácticas como la selección de sitios adecuados, la gestión eficiente del agua, la fertilización adecuada y el control de plagas y enfermedades, se recomienda diversificar las fuentes de ingresos y establecer un enfoque gradual en la adopción de tecnologías innovadoras en el cultivo de marañón.es_ES
