dc.description.abstractLa caña de azúcar (Saccharum officinarum) es una planta gramínea tropical, que se caracteriza por la acumulación de sacarosa en su tallo en el período de maduración teniendo gran importancia mundial en la producción de azúcar y sus derivados, desempeñando un papel fundamental en la economía ecuatoriana, generando empleo, impulsando las exportaciones, contribuyendo a la generación de energía renovable y promoviendo el desarrollo agrícola. Establecer la importancia de la inteligencia artificial en la proyección de producción en la caña de azúcar en el Ecuador. La presente investigación se la realizó como parte del componente practico para el trabajo de titulación de acuerdo a investigaciones recopiladas de artículos, revista, tesis y editoriales. Las conclusiones determinaron que con la ayuda de inteligencia artificial y herramientas de agricultura de precisión como sensores, drones y sistemas de monitoreo, se puede recopilar información precisa sobre la calidad del suelo, la humedad, la salud de las plantas y otras variables importantes; el uso de drones para fotografiar los cultivos e identificar regiones con baja producción es un ejemplo de la caña de azúcar. La inteligencia artificial se utiliza para analizar las fotos después de subirlas a la nube Azure de Microsoft.
