| dc.description | The present investigation is focused on the "Analysis of the typology of tourists of the Babahoyo canton" having as main contribution to be able to recognize the type of tourist that visits the city. When talking about the typology of tourists, it is to focus on the identification of the demand of visitors that have the attractions that the Babahoyo canton, Province of Los Ríos, offers the tourist or visitor a unique experience in the city. Within this work, the exploratory and descriptive research methodology is applied, with a mixed approach, since to collect the information, qualitative (interviews) and quantitative (surveys) techniques are included for the collection of data on the type of tourists that arrive in the city. Babahoyo city. As a data collection technique, a questionnaire with seventeen questions was included, applied to ninety-seven respondents. On the other hand, five interviews were conducted with key actors. This gave as a final result that the tourist who visits the city of Babahoyo is for reasons of "studies or work" coming from the different cantons Montalvo, Vinces, Quevedo. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se enfocado en el “Análisis de la tipología de turistas del cantón Babahoyo” teniendo como aporte principal poder reconocer el tipo del turista que visita la ciudad. Al hablar de la tipología de turistas es centrarse en la identificación de la demanda de visitantes que tienen los atractivos que prosee el cantón Babahoyo, Provincia de Los Ríos, del cual se ofrece al turista o visitante una experiencia única en la ciudad. Dentro de este trabajo se aplica la metodología de investigación exploratoria y descriptiva, con un enfoque mixto, ya que para recopilar la información se incluyen técnicas cualitativas (entrevistas) y cuantitativas (encuestas) para la recolección de datos sobre la tipología turistas que llega en la ciudad de Babahoyo. Como técnica de recolección de datos se incluyó un cuestionario con diecisiete preguntas, aplicado a noventa y siete encuestados. Por otra parte, se realizaron cinco entrevistas a actores claves. Esto dio como resultado final que el turista que visita la ciudad de Babahoyo es por motivos de “estudios o trabajo” provenientes de los diferentes cantones Montalvo, Vinces, Quevedo. | es_ES |
