dc.description | Active breaks are exercises designed to prevent and improve the worker's work performance; decreasing stress levels and counteracting the consolidation of diseases related to fatigue, eyestrain, joint mobility, musculoskeletal atrophy, etc. In this way, the application of active breaks prior to an evaluation leads the worker to break with everyday life and improve their work performance; however, in order to be effective, it will be necessary to know the moments and the pertinent exercises within a planning. Objective: To determine the incidence of an active pause exercise guide on the work performance of professionals in the administrative area of the GAD in the Montalvo Canton, year 2023. Methodology: The research had a quantitative, exploratory and correlational approach. The survey was taken to find out the level of satisfaction and knowledge of activity breaks in GAD professionals in the Montalvo Canton. Also, the Karasek test was applied to demonstrate the level of work performance in GAD professionals in the Montalvo Canton. Results: A guide to activity break exercises does significantly affect the improvement of work performance in GAD professionals in the Montalvo Canton. Conclusion: Active work breaks seek to achieve a mental and physical balance, which allows the health of professionals to be preserved, since this is decisive not only for their own work performance but also for the interests of the institution. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | Las pausas activas son ejercicios diseñados para prevenir y mejorar el rendimiento laboral del trabajador; disminuyendo los niveles de estrés y contrarrestando la consolidación de enfermedades relacionadas a la fatiga, cansancio visual, movilidad articular, atrofia de músculo – esquelética, etc. De tal manera, la aplicación de las pausas activas previa a una evaluación conlleva a que el trabajador rompa con la cotidianidad y mejore su rendimiento laboral; sin embargo, para que se tenga efectividad será necesario conocer los momentos y los ejercicios pertinentes dentro de una planificación. Objetivo: Determinar la incidencia que tiene una guía de ejercicios de pausas activas en el rendimiento laboral de los profesionales del área administrativa del GAD en el Cantón Montalvo, año 2023. Metodología: La investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo exploratoria y correlacional. Se utilizó la encuesta para conocer el nivel de satisfacción y el conocimiento de las pausas actividades en los profesionales del GAD en el Cantón Montalvo. También, se aplicó el test de Karasek para diagnosticar el nivel de rendimiento laboral en los profesionales del GAD en el Cantón Montalvo. Resultados: Una guía de ejercicios de pausas actividad si incide significativamente en el mejoramiento del rendimiento laboral en los profesionales del GAD en el Cantón Montalvo. Conclusión: Las pausas activas laborales buscan conseguir un equilibrio mental y físico, que permita conservar la salud de los profesionales, ya que esto es determinante no solo para el rendimiento laboral propio sino para los intereses de la institución. | es_ES |
